Moles on the scalp are like any mole on the body and they are normally nothing to worry about. But, like with any mole, get them checked if they change colour, itch, weep or grow. It can be annoying if your mole sticks and it can prove to be painful when you comb or brush your hair, so pre-warn your hairdresser of its location to avoid any watery eyes.

If necessary, they can be easily removed with only a local anesthetic but this will leave a hair-free scar. Always contact your local G.P for this procedure.
